Norwood Hair Cuttery Holds Cut-a-thon to Benefit Norwood High School Varsity Cheerleading Team
All haircuts will be $10.00 with 100% of the proceeds going towards funding the teams trip to the 2017 International Championship in FL.
Hair Cuttery at 146 Nahatan Street in Norwood will host a cut-a-thon on Sunday, February 12th from 5:00pm – 9:00pm to benefit the Norwood High School Varsity Cheerleading Team. All haircuts will be $10.00 with 100% of the proceeds going towards funding the teams trip to the 2017 International Championship in Buena Vista, FL.
The team participated in the MSSAA Fall Cheerleading State Championship on November and placed 6th out of 9 teams and received a bid to compete at the national level. The team will be competing in the 2017 International Championship in Buena Vista, Florida March 18-19, 2017.
“We are so excited to be helping such a wonderful group of young women,” said Maureen Lydon, salon leader for the Norwood Hair Cuttery. “We wish them the best of luck as they move on to compete and the national level,” said Lydon.
