Norwood House Fire: 2 Rescued, Resuscitated

Two unconscious people were rescued from a Norwood house fire and resuscitated early Saturday morning, police said.

At approximately 3 a.m. Norwood Police and Fire responded to the 100 block of Norwest Drive for a reported fire. The fire department worked to knock down the blaze and found two unconscious people while searching inside.

The two were resuscitated on scene. They are in stable condition, police said.

There is no word on the cause of the fire.

Walpole and Westwood Fire Departments provided mutual aid.
