7:58 a.m. Caller reported he scooped up a small child on the corner of Fairview Rd. and Washington St., barefooted and running out into traffic. Caller was standing by at the scene with his wife and the child. Norwood Fire Department responded and the child’s home was located. A second child was found at the home and both were transported to the hospital.
1:10 p.m. Caller reported that her husband wanted to change the lock on the house on Jefferson Dr. Officers filed a report.

6:07 p.m. Norwood Police reported to the Walpole Police to be on the look-out for a green van that caused minor damage in a hit and run on 1A. The van was last seen heading north on Route 1A. Walpole unit was authorized to check, while Norwood units were unavailable.
9:08 p.m. Caller reported kids shattered a window with a rock on Cedar St. Officers checked area, juveniles gone on arrival.

10:42 p.m. Caller reported loud voices and possibly smoking marijuana on Oolah Ave. Patrol reported five males inside watching a soccer game with no marijuana present. There were no loud voices upon arrival.
Thursday, Sept. 29
1:23 a.m. A caller from Norwood Hospital security reported an intoxicated patient in the lobby refusing to leave. Officers responded, as a result, Norwood police returned with one person in protective custody.
