Norwood Woman In Courthouse Drug Distribution Case Indicted

Indictments against Christine Lozanne, 54, of Norwood, and Tineisha Lozanne, 26, of Dorchester were handed down Monday.

BROCKTON, MA — Two people charged with distributing drugs at Brockton Superior Court have been indicted, the Plymouth County District Attorney's office announced Tuesday.

Indictments against Christine Lozanne, 54, of Norwood, and Tineisha Lozanne, 26, of Dorchester were handed down Monday. Both face charges of distributing Suboxone, distributing marijuana, delivery or receipt of articles to or from inmates, and attempt to commit a crime.

The indictment moves the case from Brockton District Court to Plymouth County Superior Court in Brockton. A superior court arraignment has not been scheduled.

The mother-daughter duo were arrested Nov. 15. Authorities say the Lozannes attempted to deliver drugs to a prisoner inside the courthouse. The two allegedly placed the drugs behind a railing in an elevator where inmates knew there were no cameras. A covert camera allegedly caught Christine Lozanne taking something out of her shirt inside the elevator and placing it behind a railing. An inmate then entered the elevator and placed the drugs into this pocket.

The camera also caught Tineisha Lozanne hiding drugs, according to a police report.

Three court officers have been placed on leave, according to reports.
