St Catherine School Senior Girls Basketball Team Wins So Shore League Title

The 7th & 8th grade girls basketball team from St. Catherine of Siena School in Norwood recently completed an undefeated season by claiming the South Shore Parochial School League title. After beginning the year by winning the John Jaworski Tournament in the preseason, the squad went 9-0 during the regular season and then won a pair of playoff games on Feb. 25 & 26 at Xaverian with a 43-12 victory over St. Agatha's (Milton) in the semifinals and a 39-28 triumph over Blessed Sacrament (Walpole) in the finals. The team will play in the Quarter Finals on Saturday, March 11, at 11:00 AM at Catholic Memorial High School.
