On the Cumulative Progress and Performance Index (PPI), Callahan Elementary received a score of 82 out of 99, while Cleveland Elementary earned a 69, Oldham earned an 85, and Prescott earned an 89.
The progress and performance index combines information about narrowing proficiency gaps, growth, and graduation and dropout rates over multiple years into a single number, according to the DESE. All districts, schools, and student subgroups receive an annual PPI based on improvement over a two-year period and a cumulative score based on four years of data. For a group to be considered to be making progress toward narrowing proficiency gaps, its cumulative PPI must be 75 or higher.
