FBI Searches 'Creepy Creations' Shop At Peabody Mills 58
Mills 58 Peabody called the search of Kat's Creepy Creations "an isolated incident" not related to other shops in the building.
PEABODY, MA — Operators of the Mills 58 shopping district on Pulaski Street in Peabody called a Federal Bureau of Investigation search of one of its stores "an isolated incident" that "poses no threat or danger to the property or its tenants whatsoever."
FBI investigators spent part of the day Tuesday combing through Kat's Creepy Creations — a North Shore artisan shop that, according to its Facebook page, includes items of "horror, macabre, oddities, and everything creepy."
WBZ-TV reported that the FBI confirmed to them that the search was in connection with a federal investigation, but declined comment on the details of that investigation. The FBI also told the station there was "no threat to public safety."

According to the station, the FBI also conducted a search of the owner's Salem house,
The search led to considerable interest and speculation from nearby residents and fellow business owners.

"Regarding the FBI presence on our property yesterday," Mills 58 posted on its Facebook page on Wednesday morning, "Per the Head Investigator on this matter, the FBI was granted permission by the business owner to enter their business suite yesterday, and has stated that there is no threat or danger to the property or its tenants whatsoever.
"This is an isolated incident and is unrelated to the remaining Mills 58 businesses and property ownership."
WBZ-TV reported that agents were at the suite for several hours and "agents were lugging what looked like wrapped suitcases and boxes out of the shop."
