Free Christmas Day Meals On North Shore For Those In Need
The following places in Beverly, Peabody and Lynn are offering meals to those in need on Christmas Day.
PEABODY, MA — As families gather for Christmas celebrations again this year there are several places on the North Shore with employees or volunteers giving their time to make sure those in need have a holiday meal of their own.
Citizens Inn Haven For Hunger at 71 Wallis Street in Peabody is offering grab-and-go Christmas meals with pickup between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Home deliveries may be arranged for those who cannot come to Haven for Hunger to pick up the meals by calling 978-531-1530 or emailing info@citizensinn.org.
My Brother's Table at 98 Willow Street in Lynn is offering to-go meals for individuals and families from noon to 4:30 p.m. Extra meals are available for those who want to take them to neighbors in need who are unable to pick them up themselves. No volunteers are needed for Christmas Day. However, volunteers are needed for the rest of the year. To help out, contact jason@mybrotherstable.org.

First Baptist Church at 221 Cabot Street in Beverly is offering a Christmas dinner at 12:30 p.m. These meals will be available as dine-in or take-out. For more information, contact 978-922-3295.
Lifebridge Salem will not be offering meals to the general public this year but will do for its residents.

Northshore Universalist Unitarian Church in Danvers will also not be offering meals this year because of the coronavirus crisis for only the second time in 35 years. The hope is to resume the holiday tradition in 2022.
