Grants Help Keep Peabody Cultured

The Peabody Cultural Council is currently seeking funding proposals.

This year, the Peabody Cultural Council will distribute just over $15,000 in grants to organizations that support arts-related activities in the community.

The cultural council has set an Oct. 15 postmark deadline for organizations, schools, and individuals to apply for these grants.

These grants can support a variety of artistic projects and activities in Peabody, including exhibits, festivals, field trips, short-term artist residencies or performances in schools, workshops and lectures, according to cultural council spokesperson Lisa Greene. The council also welcomes new and innovative ideas to enrich the community through the arts.
