• Peabody Seeks Artists For Foster Street Public Art Planter Project (patch.com) — Peabody is inviting local artists to transform five large metal planters on Foster Street into public art as part of a three-year Transformative Development Initiative revitalization effort. Preference is given to Peabody residents and groups, with selected artists receiving an $800 stipend to create original, family-friendly designs. Applications are due Sept. 9, with finished planters to debut before Peabody's International Festival and a second round planned for 2027.
   

• Topsfield Fair Awards $157K In Scholarships To 36 North Shore HS Graduates (patch.com) — Two Peabody students, including one from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, are among 36 North Shore graduates sharing $157,000 in Topsfield Fair scholarships. The awards recognize community-involved students from across the region, with applications for the class of 2027 expected early next year and the next Topsfield Fair running October 2–12.
