Peabody Christmas Tree 'Fire At The Farm' Set For Tillie's Farm

The night of games, music, cocoa, beer and holiday tree disposal is set for Jan. 7 behind the Tillie's Farm Stand.

PEABODY, MA — Peabody residents are encouraged to come out in the cold and celebrate winter in front of the fire at the city's Christmas tree bonfire — Fire At The Farm — set for Tillie's Farm on Jan. 7.

The event will include a hot cocoa bar, a craft beer pub featuring Essex County Brewing and Granite Coast Brewing, cider, food, dessert treats, S'mores, games, and music.

The event will run from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. with the bonfire set to be lit at 6. Music by DJ Cass will start the evening. Lawn games include giant Jenga, wreath tossing, giant Connect 4 and glow-in-the-dark Corn Hole.

Commemorative hats will be for sale and those attending are reminded to wear proper shoes since the terrain is uneven — and it will be dark.

This is a family-friendly event without outside coolers and beverages not permitted. Dogs and smoking are not permitted.

Those attending can park at St. Ann's Church or the Brown School and take a free shuttle or walk. Handicapped parking will be available at Magical Beginnings Daycare.

Residents looking to have their Christmas tree included in the festivities are invited to bring their undecorated tree to Tillie's Farm on Jan. 3 or Jan. 4 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In case of rain or high winds, the make-up date is Jan. 8.
