Peabody To Host Veterans Day Ceremony At City Hall
Residents are invited to attend the Nov. 11 ceremony that will include several speakers and a special Veterans Day proclamation.
PEABODY, MA — The public this year is invited to the Peabody Veterans Day ceremony to be held at City Hall on Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.
The ceremony will include Peabody police, Peabody fire, the Junior ROTC and a traditional flag-folding ceremony, rifle fire and playing of "Taps."
U.S. Navy Commander Stan D. Duplaga will deliver the keynote address.

"Each year on November 11th, our community pauses to recognize the service and sacrifice of our honored military veterans," Mayor Ted Bettencourt said. "Our country owes a tremendous debt of gratitude to the brave men and women in uniform who protect our freedom and way of life."
Connie Patturelli and Noah Crocker, from Project 351, will read a special Veterans Day proclamation.
