Peabody Ice Cream Man Who Set World Record Featured on Chronicle
Allan Ganz has been selling ice cream treats from a truck for almost seven decades.

Local residents tuning into WCVB Channel 5’s popular Chronicle program on Wednesday night saw a familiar face.
The long-running news program featured a segment on an even longer-running ice cream man, Peabody’s own Allan ”Al” Ganz.
Ganz holds the Guiness World Record for ”Longest Career as an Ice Cream Man.”
