Peabody Man Killed in Rollover Crash Identified
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

UPDATE: A 43-year-old Peabody man killed in a rollover crash on Monday afternoon on Route 128 southbound has been identified as William Choquette, according to state police. The passenger in the tow truck Choquette was driving, was David Moise, 65, of Peabody. The passenger suffered serious injuries.
A multi-vehicle rollover crash left a 43-year-old man dead, and a 65-year-old man suffered serious injuries just after 3 Monday afternoon on Route 128 southbound in Peabody at the Route 95 split. One of the vehicles involved in the crash had rolled over and the operator, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected, according to state police.
Troopers assigned to the State Police Barracks in Danvers responded to the crash.

Preliminary crash investigation by Trooper Michael Perry indicated a 1987 GMC flat-bed tow truck, which had been hauling a car, lost control and rolled over. The operator, a 43-year-old man, was thrown from the vehicle. CPR was performed at the scene and the operator was transported by Peabody EMS to North Shore Medical Center in Lynn, where he was pronounced dead, according to state police.
The passenger in the tow truck, a 65-year-old man, David Moise of Peabody, was trapped in the truck> Moise suffered serious injuries and was transported in an area hospital.

The second vehicle, a 2011 Ford Van, was operated by 34-year-old Luckenson Dorisca of Randolph. She was transported by to Lahey Burlington for minor injuries. The third vehicle, a 2012 Mazda 3, was operated by 31-year-old Emilie Rey, who was not injured in the crash.
Troopers assigned to the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section and Crime Scene Services Section were on scene to investigate the crash. MassDOT provided support for the lane closures throughout the incident and the Peabody Fire Department remained on scene until the victims were transported from the scene.
All lanes of Route 128 Southbound were closed for over 30 minutes during the crash response and investigation.
