Police: Howling Coyotes; Car vs. Light Pole

Sunday, August 23

At 2:40 p.m., there was a hit and run motor vehicle accident on Newbury Street.

At 2:47 p.m., a number of boxes for sealed flooring materials was reported stolen from a shed on Newbury Street.

At 3:56 p.m., there was a report of shoplifting at the Northshore Mall. Store security handled the incident.

At 5:14 p.m., a car hit a dog on Lynn Street.

At 10:21 p.m., there was a report of a past hit and run of a motor vehicle on Lowell Street.

Monday, August 24

At 1:20 a.m., a car hit a light pole on Newbury Street and then drove off.

At 5:31 a.m., windows were smashed on a vehicle on Lynn Street.

At 8:36 a.m., a motorcycle was stolen on Pleasant Street.

At 11:41 a.m., there was a call from someone concerned about coyotes howling during the day on Rockway Road.

At 12:22 p.m., police arrested Elizabeth Byrne, 32, of 62 Newcastle Road in Peabody on warrant.
