Second Peabody Fatal Shooting Suspect Arraigned: Essex DA​

Donald Frost, 31, of Merrimac, was arraigned in Peabody District Court Tuesday in connection to the Jan. 23 fatal shooting on Wallis Street.

PEABODY, MA — A second North Shore man was arraigned in Peabody District Court on Tuesday in connection to a fatal shooting on Wallis Street last month.

The Essex County District Attorney's Office said Donald Frost, 31, of Merrimac was charged with armed robbery, larceny and accessory after the fact in connection to the shooting death of a Peabody man on Jan. 23.

Charles Burgess, 26, of Peabody, was arraigned on a murder charge on Jan. 24 in the shooting death of Prince Thompson, 25. He was held without bail.

Police responded to the block of 70-80 Wallis Street about 9:45 on Jan. 23 where they found a 25-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was treated at the scene and then taken to Salem Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A pre-trial conference for Frost is scheduled for March 17.
