100+ MPH Motorcycle Joyrides Results In Arrest: Police
The 21-year-old is thought to have been driving recklessly down Route 28 for two months.

MIDDLEBORO, MA — A 21-year-old who police said has been enjoying reckless motorcycle joyrides on Route 28 over the past two months has been arrested after another pair of jaunts this week.
Corey Fisher, of Middleboro, was arrested at his home Friday after speeding past two State Police cruisers at more than 100 miles per hour Wednesday, police said. A short time before his arrest, Fisher twice sped by an officer conducting a traffic stop on Route 105, making obscene gestures before doing a burnout and taking off, police said.
Police said a motorcycle rider has been driving recklessly down Route 28 since August. Sometimes the motorcycle would be driving in the triple digits, and the rider would taunt and stop to kick town-owned vehicles.

Police have not been engaging in chases due to public safety concerns, but the troopers were able to identify Fisher off a photo Middleboro Police showed them.
"We confidently believe that this is the individual that has been riding dangerously down Route 28 for the past two months," Middleboro Police Chief Joseph Perkins said.

Fisher was charged with operating to endanger, failure to stop for a police officer, and operating a motor vehicle for a suspended license in relation to the Wednesday and Friday incidents. He hasn't been charged in earlier joyrides that police suspect were him.
Fisher is scheduled to be arraigned Monday.
