$1M Mass Lottery Winner From Plymouth
Richard Witt, of Plymouth, won $1 million in the Massachusetts State Lottery's "$10,000,000 Mega Fortune" game.

PLYMOUTH, MA — A Plymouth man is $1 million richer — minus taxes and incentives — after hitting a jackpot in the Massachusetts State Lottery. Richard Witt was the ninth $1 million winner in the lottery's “$10,000,000 Mega Fortune” instant game. He elected for the one-time cash payment of $650,000 before taxes.
Witt told lottery officials he plans to invest his winnings. He purchased his winning ticket at the Taunton Mart, which will receive a $10,000 bonus. (Sign up for free daily newsletters and breaking news alerts from Plymouth Patch.)
There are three $10 million prizes and six $1 million prizes remaining in the $20 “$10,000,000 Mega Fortune” game.
