This was last summer, but since the weather is now getting warmer again, I feel it is a good time to post this.  It was a three day hike back in August of 2011 through the Mahoosuc mountains in the pristine wilderness setting of Maine. Through its 40 mile length, the Grafton Loop Trail challenged me with steep climbs, rock scrambles, large stream crossings, and the famous tree roots which define the look of Maine's hiking trails. Obviously it's a challenging trail, but one that anyone can hike in a long weekend.
