South Happenings: Back to the Grindstone After Vacation

After one week off from waking up at 6 a.m., Plymouth students are getting back in the routine with a busy month for Technical Studies students.
Annual "Tech Expo"
The annual Tech Expo will be held this Thursday and Friday at PSHS. This Tech Expo is a fair showcasing all the technical programs that South and North have to offer. Students from PCIS and PSMS will be able to check out what the programs have to offer. Thursday night from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., parents og seventh and eighth grade students can attend the same fair that students will see on the field trip. Parents of eighth grade students are also invited to attend an orientation presentation following the Tech Expo at 7 p.m.

Sport Tournaments
The Girls Basketball team played Dartmouth Monday, Feb. 27.

The Boys Basketball team will be playing against West Roxbury Raiders Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 7 p.m. in the PSHS Gymnasium
Panther Hockey Team will be playing Dennis-Yarmouth at Gallo Ice Arena Wednesday, Feb. 29 at 7:45 p.m.

Model UN
Students from the Model UN (United Nations) club will be attending a conference this Saturday (March 3) at Boston College High School
SkillsUSA
District Competition is Friday March 9 at Greater New Bedford Regional Technical High School. 100 students will be competing.
DECA
Marketing Students from the DECA program will be attending their conference March 8, 9 and 10 at the Marriot Copley in Boston.
