With March underway, it's hard to believe that June is right around the corner. The next 3 1/2 months are very busy for the students, staff and administrators of Plymouth South with graduation the first weekend in June, Prom in May, MCAS, Senior Dinner Dance and more. But before everyone can leave in June, final exams will need to be taken.
MCAS
Tuesday, March 20, begins Long Composition of MCAS, with Reading Comprehension Sessions 1-3 Wednesday and Thursday. The MCAS will be taken by all sophomore students and any juniors/seniors who didn't pass. MCAS is critical for students to pass in sophomore year as it decides if you graduate from high school. Freshman year is a break from MCAS. In May, Math MCAS comes along and following is the Biology MCAS in June. Students who are taking the MCAS should arrive at school by 7:15 a.m., eat a good healthy breakfast and get a good night sleep.
