Fatal Crash Near Bourne Bridge: Woman Identified
A woman was killed and four people were hurt near the Bourne Bridge Sunday when a tractor-trailer collided with a sport utility vehicle.
BOURNE, MA — State Police on Monday identified the woman killed in a three-vehicle crash in Bourne near the Bourne Bridge Sunday. Deborah Carney, 61, of Middleborough, died after a Freightliner collided with her sport utility vehicle. Four others in the SUV were hurt, including a 15-year-old girl who suffered life-threatening injuries.

The tractor-trailer driver, an unidentified 43-year-old Lynn man, was not hurt. The teen seriously injured was not identified. The cause of the crash was under investigation.
