PLYMOUTH, MA — A Plymouth man earlier this month lit his house on fire in an apparent suicide, according to the state fire marshal.
The 64-year-old man was killed Feb. 17. Investigators said he poured gas in his Ellisville Road home and set it afire.
“I want to express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of (the victim) on their loss in this tragic incident,” said Plymouth Fire Chief Edward Bradley said in a statement. “If anyone has such feelings of desperation, please reach out; there are people willing and able to listen and help to work through such crises.”
