WAREHAM, MA — Wareham police recently arrested two suspects and seized more than $30,000 worth of heroin in their "most significant drug bust in decades." The arrests happened May 11 after police said they executed a search warrant following a months-long investigation into the distribution of heroin and fentanyl in the region. Police said they found most of the heroin stuffed in PVC piping in a wooded area.

Police said they found more drugs and nearly $19,000 in cash at Quinn's Ladd Avenue residence.

"This is a major dent in the distribution of drugs that poison our town and disrupt lives in so many ways," Wareham Police Chief Kevin Walsh said in a statement.
