Plymouth North Sports Update: Eagles Hockey Wins Back-to-Back

Playoff bound Plymouth North hockey has won its past two games. The Eagle's boys basketball team must win its next two games in order to make it to the tournament.

The Plymouth North hockey team won back to back games over the weekend, allowing the Eagles to head into the playoffs with a 12-4-3 record. The Eagles defeated Falmouth 4-2 Friday, then traveled to Medford Saturday and beat Medford High 5-3.  The Eagles finished their regular season against Sandwich Monday. Tournament pairings will be announced later this week. Stay tuned for updates.

The Plymouth North boys basketball squad lost to Falmouth 71-35 last Thursday, but the Eagles rebounded with a 54-46 win over rival Plymouth South Saturday. Plymouth North can still qualify for this year’s tournament if the team wins its final two games of the season. The 8-10 Eagles played Scituate Monday evening-stay tuned for updates.

The lady Eagles’ basketball team dominated Chatham last Thursday, winning 57-27, but then lost 55-29 to rival Plymouth South Saturday. The 6-13 Eagles will finish its season Tuesday against Quincy.
