Plymouth South Hockey Loses to Franklin

Franklin heads to State Finals after defeating Plymouth South in Division 2 South Sunday.

In the last game of the season, the Plymouth South Panthers could not match the agression of previous games and lost 5-2 to Franklin in the Division 2 South Final. Franklin will head to Boston next weekend for the state finals at the Garden.

In the previous game, South defeated Coyle Cassidy 3-1 while using an agressive style of play that shutdown the other team. In this game, the Panthers faced the same type of play from Franklin.

"We just could not penetrate enough," said head coach Mike McCosh. " [The boys] left everything they had on the ice."
