4 Charged In Fentanyl, Heroin Bust: Quincy Police

Four people from Quincy and Seattle were arrested after police said they seized 27 grams of heroin/fentanyl and 13 pounds of marijuana.

QUINCY, MA — Two Quincy residents and two people from Seattle were arrested after police said they seized 27 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 13 pounds of marijuana, and more than $37,000 in cash. Jun H. Wu, 39, and Jie L. Lim 28, both of Quincy, were charged with trafficking more than 10 grams of fentanyl, trafficking more than 18 grams of heroin, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Zhonhui Wu, 55, and Lai M. Wu, 51, both of Seattle, were charged with distribution of marijuana and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Quincy police said they began investigating Lim and Jun H. Wu earlier this month for suspected drug activity. Around 10 a.m. Friday, police said they saw a drug deal involving a large quantity of marijuana at the side of Lim and Jun H. Wu's South Street apartment.

Three of the suspects were detained, and police said they seized 27 grams of heroin/fentanyl, 13 pounds of marijuana, and more than $27,000 in cash. Detectives then executed a search warrant of the residence and found two more plastic bags of tan powder, more than $10,000 in cash, and other items indicative of drug distribution, according to police.

All four suspects were arraigned in Quincy District Court Monday. Lim and Jun H. Wu were held on $7,500 bail, while Zhonhui Wu and Lai M. Wu were held on $10,000 bail.
