Braintree Men Charged in Quincy Bar Assault

The victim told police that he was punched and kicked in the head by two men.

QUINCY, MA — A pair of Braintree men were ordered held on bail after allegedly attacking a man inside a Quincy bar.

Ronald Talbot, 38, and Christopher Haldoupis, 31, were both arraigned in Quincy District Court last week on charges of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and unarmed robbery, according to the Patriot Ledger.

On Feb. 25, police responded to a report of a fight at Pete’s Grille on South Street. The victim was found inside a bathroom, hiding with a facial wound. The man told police that he was punched and kicked in the head by two men.

The suspects fled the scene, but on April 22, the victim told police that he learned the name of the men who attacked him. The victim told police that he was able to identify the men though their Facebook pages, according to a police report.

Both men pleaded not guilty to the charges. Talbot was ordered held on $10,000 bail and Haldoupis was ordered held $5,000 bail. As of Tuesday, both men have yet to post bail.
