Quincy Man Charged With Running Marijuana Edibles Operation

QUINCY, MA — A months-long investigation by the Quincy Department has resulted in a drug arrest at a home near Central Middle School.

Ray Crowell, 33, was arrested on Oval Road and charged with distributing marijuana, distributing THC oil, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of THC oil with intent to distribute, manufacturing THC oil, and cultivating marijuana, according to the Quincy Police Department. Over $4,000 cash was also seized.

Crowell has been the target of an illegal marijuana sale investigation by the Quincy Police Drug Control Unit. He was taken into custody Thursday after police executed a search warrant and determined that Crowell was operating a marijuana delivery service from his home.

Police say the operation generated about $10,000 worth of business per week and Crowell had $60,000 in inventory at the time of the arrest.
