Quincy Officer Remains in Custody Following Delayed Hearing
Keith A. Wilbur, 51, was scheduled to have a hearing Friday but an indictment in Bristol County Superior Court delayed the hearing.

QUINCY, MA — A Quincy officer facing charges from a Monday night standoff at his home in Raynham will remain behind bars.
Keith A. Wilbur, 51, was scheduled to have a hearing Friday but an indictment in Bristol County Superior Court delayed the hearing, pending his arraignment in the higher court, according to the Patriot Ledger. He could be arraigned as early as next week.
Monday night, Wilbur allegedly barricaded himself inside his home and led to a standoff with police that included shots fired from the home. During a 3-hour phone call, Wilbur told police that he had "lots of guns and ammo" and warned officers to be ready if they entered his basement. At times during the first two hours, Wilbur talked about committing suicide by cop, according to a police report.
