QUINCY, MA — Quincy police charged a Weymouth man and Quincy man with drugs and weapons charges after a traffic stop on Marriott Drive Monday night. Police said Austin Keaney, of Weymouth, 25, was charged with possession of a stolen gun, while Christopher Keeley, of Quincy, was charged with carrying brass knuckles, among other charges.

Police said Keeley told the officer he did not have a license, did not know who owned the car and did not know the address of the girl he said he was trying to find. After determining the car might have been stolen, the driver and a passenger were ordered out of the car for additional questioning.

During a pat frisk of Keaney, the backseat passenger, police said Officer Dabilis found a folding knife in his pocket. A further search uncovered a small amount of marijuana, a small plastic bag containing 15 pills marked Xanax and $2,000 in cash. Police said a search of the car discovered a 9-mm automatic handgun with seven rounds in a bag where Keaney had been sitting.
