Quincy Police Looking For Carjacking Suspect
Police said the suspect tried to steal three and succeeded in stealing two cars. One of the cars was stolen at gunpoint.
QUINCY, MA — Police are looking for a man they said stole two cars, one at gunpoint on Thursday night The man also tried to steal to steal a third car, according to police.
Around 11:15 p.m, the suspect, which police described as a black man in his early 20s, tried to carjack a man while he was waiting in the drive thru at Wendy's on Newport Avenue. Police told the Patriot Ledger the suspect tried to open the car door, threatened the man, and tried to jump in front of his car while he drove away.
Ten minutes later, police were called to Marshall's on Newport Avenue after a 36-year-old woman from Quincy said a man jumped in front of her car and pointed a gun at her. She got out, and the suspect stole her 2011 Toyota Corolla, police said.

Around 11:45 p.m., a delivery driver from Boston called police and reported his Honda Accord stolen near Elmwood Park, which is about a mile from Marshalls, police told the Patriot Ledger. Police said he left his keys in the ignition while delivering food. No one was hurt in any of the three incidents.
Based off descriptions, Quincy Police believe the same suspect was involved in all three incidents. Both stolen vehicles were recovered, but the suspect hasn't been found yet.
