Tenants Forced Out by Bed Bugs Start to Move Back

Residents at a Germantown apartment building were relocated to a hotel as the town dealt with the pests.

QUINCY, MA — About half of the residents forced to leave public housing in Germantown due to bedbugs are back home.

The Patriot Ledger reports that residents in 12 of the 22 apartments in O'Brien Towers returned home Friday. The residents weer relocated to hotels during the week as the city got rid of the pests.

James Lydon, executive director of the Quincy Housing Authority, said the remaining residents returned Saturday.
