Dance the Night Away To Benefit Children's Miracle Network
RMHS event Saturday will raise money for Boston Children's Hospital and the MIracle Network.

What started as an idea by student Kelly Ward will become a reality Saturday with the RMHS Dance Marathon to benefit the Boston Children's Hospital Miracle Network.
The event will be held Saturday evening from 7:15-11:15. The event is through Children's Miracle Network and is held in many schools throughout the country. According to RMHS advisor Ally Lynch, each Dance Marathon benefits the Miracle Network Hospital it is located closest to, so Reading's event benefits Boston Children's Hospital. RMHS is believed to be the first high school on the North Shore to hold a Dance Marathon to benefit the Children's Miracle Network.
Lynch gives all the credit to Ward.

"She is one of the most intelligent, kind, and hard-working students I know."
Once RMHS gave her the go-ahead, Ward asked Lynch to be the advisor. She then created a group of leaders (five girls) and they have been working together ever since. On January 18th, the team had an after-school field trip to the hospital to plan the event.

Even though they're reached their find raising goal, the group appreciates any additional support. Donations can be made online.
