• After 32 years in Revere Public Schools, Superintendent Dr. Dianne Kelly leaves behind more than a distinguished career—she leaves a district transformed (reverejournal.com) — Revere’s longtime superintendent Dr. Dianne Kelly will retire after the coming school year, capping 32 years in Revere Public Schools and 12 years leading the district. Under her tenure, Revere saw major gains in equity, teacher development, and innovative programs, plus the long-awaited new Revere High School now rising at the former Wonderland site. 
• Swampscott Leaders Question Lynnway Redesign, Seek Changes Before Construction (swampscotttides.org) — Major construction on the Lynnway, a new Revere high school, and bridge work could all overlap, prompting Swampscott officials to push for changes before the Lynnway Corridor project breaks ground. Local boards from nearby towns are coordinating their feedback and urging residents to speak up at an August 18 meeting so concerns about traffic and access to Boston are heard early.
