
A three-alarm overnight fire in Roslindale displaced five adults and caused hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage, the Boston Fire Department said.
The fire occurred at 139 Walter Street, a single-family home. No one was injured. The chief estimated the damage at around $750,000.
Boston Fire tweeted it was responding to the fire at about midnight. It reported the blaze knocked down almost exactly an hour later.
