Allandale Woods Urban Wild Community Meeting #3

THE PROJECT:

As part of the Boston Parks and Recreation Departments continuing efforts to provide quality natural and passive recreation areas for use and enjoyment by city residents, efforts are underway to make access improvements to the Allandale Woods Urban Wild.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

We are looking for interested community members to help us in determining how access and way- finding improvements will look and function in the future. Urban wild renovations such as this represent a unique opportunity to make improvement which better enable residents to to explore and enjoy nature in the city, while still managing the areas for plant and wildlife conservation purposes.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Representatives from Kyle Zick Landscape Architecture, as well as the Parks Department Project Manager,will be on hand to give a brief presentation of the project scope including improvements to the trail heads, site access, signage, and vegetation, as well as of the existing site conditions. Following this brief presentation, community members will be able to offer input regarding the material presented.
