Cooking with Vinny Marino of The Brickhouse Cafe

Jump start your "back to school" and attend an educational and informative cooking show! At the Mother Brook Arts and Community Center.

The Chefs’ Table Series road trip to Dedham will be an exciting one to attend! Four chefs – four different cuisines – and four entertaining personalities will capture all food-lovers and home cooks alike!

The Mother Brook Arts and Community Center, located at 123 High Street in Dedham, MA 02026 will host the 4-week culinary series during the month of September. This first-ever Dedham Culinary Series, highlighting independent-owned restaurants, kicks off on Monday September 8th with chef/owner Vinny Marino of the ever-popular Italian restaurant Brickhouse Cafe. He will be making his secret family dish: Shrimp Siciliano featuring shrimp sautéed with mushrooms, broccoli, roasted red peppers in a bianco sauce served over linguini. Yum!

Pastry chef/owner Elias Saade of the European-style bakery La Luce Pastry Shop that recently opened in Dedham Square will donate dessert for each show.

Proceeds from the 4-week culinary series will benefit the Mother Brook Arts & Community Center & the Chefs Table Foundation, a local non-profit organization that produces The Chefs’ Table Series TV Cooking show and whose mission “service before self” strives to give back to veterans and young adults that are homeless and indigent. The Foundation’s goal is to provide a culinary education to this group of people in order to advance themselves and rise above their personal situations.

Tickets are ONLY $25 per person, which includes small-plated meal, glass of wine and dessert. Also a raffle to win a gift card of the featured restaurant will be part of the festivities.

Reservations required; there are no food substitutions. All guests must be in their seats by 6:15pm. All electronic devices must be turned off so not to interfere with the sound and filming of the show. It is estimated that the taping of the cooking segment, and guests enjoying wine and food will be 2 hours the most.
