Firefighters battled an overnight blaze in Roslindale while most of Boston was sleeping. No injuries were immediately reported. Units responded to the fire at 10 Hazelmere Rd. around 1:25 a.m., according to the Boston Fire Department. The department said a second-floor fire extended through the roof of the brick and wood single-family home. The fire was reported to be knocked down at approximately 2:25 a.m. According to the Boston Fire Department, the cause of the blaze was an electrical short circuit.
