PHOTOS: Overnight Roslindale House Fire
No injuries were reported. Boston Fire tweeted out some gripping photographs of the blaze.
Firefighters battled an overnight blaze in Roslindale while most of Boston was sleeping.
No injuries were immediately reported.
Units responded to the fire at 10 Hazelmere Rd. around 1:25 a.m., according to the Boston Fire Department. The department said a second-floor fire extended through the roof of the brick and wood single-family home.

The fire was reported to be knocked down at approximately 2:25 a.m.
According to the Boston Fire Department, the cause of the blaze was an electrical short circuit.

It resulted in $500,000 worth of damage to the residence, Boston Fire said.
