Roslindale Open Studios Celebrates Historic 10th Anniversary November 1 & 2
Family-friendly community event features 80 artists in 30 locations

Roslindale Open Studios, a unique annual event celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, will feature 80 artists displaying their work in 30 locations on November 1 and 2 from 11AM – 5PM. Painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, woodworking, textiles, jewelry and mixed media assemblage are just a few examples of the types of art that will be available to view and purchase during this family-friendly weekend.
The event will also include live music, kids’ art activities, a bicycle tour, and the Roslindale Congregational Church Harvest Fair. Residents and visitors are invited to celebrate Roslindale’s rich and diverse arts community and get a jump on their holiday shopping at group sites, local businesses, and home studios. Visitors to home studios can also participate in a raffle to win gift certificates to Roslindale businesses.

- Make free arts and crafts with Kids Art Express at Roslindale Congregational Church: Saturday 11AM – 5PM, Sunday 12PM – 3PM
- Play Home Studio Bingo to win gift certificates to local businesses: Saturday and Sunday, 11AM – 5PM
- Take an Open Studios bicycle tour with Rozzie Bikes: departs from Adams Park on Saturday at 11AM
- Listen to funk, rock and R&B by the Tom Appleman Band at Roslindale Congregational Church: Saturday 1PM – 3PM
- Have your face painted by Sparklle Thames: Saturday 11AM – 2PM
- Enjoy the Afro-Latin-Caribbean rhythms of Trio Ten Tumbao at Roslindale Congregational Church: Sunday 1PM – 3PM
