Three Injured By Falling Truck Debris on Pike: Police
The Roslindale man driving the tractor-trailer was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury crash, according to police.
ROSLINDALE, MA - Three people were injured Wednesday morning after a large metal object fell off a tractor-trailer driven by a Roslindale man, police said.
Anthony Donaldson, 48, was driving eastbound on Route 90 in Millbury at about 6:30 a.m. when the debris flew from his tractor-trailer, smashing into a Subaru, according to police.
The driver of the Subaru, a 59-year-old man from Wilbraham, and his two adult passengers were transported to UMass Medical Center with minor injuries, police said.

Donaldson initially failed to stop at the scene of the accident and was charged with leaving the scene of a personal injury crash and left lane violation, police said.
Officials determined the rogue tractor-trailer load had not been properly secured, police said. The company that owns the truck was issued a federal motor carrier safety administration violation, police said.
