Tips on Choosing a New Kitchen and Bath Countertop

When it comes time to update your home, quite often the rooms that need the most help are the bathrooms and kitchen. And, the most impressive change you can make in either of those rooms is with the countertops. The biggest challenge when upgrading your new kitchen and bathroom countertop is selecting a material you’ll be happy with for years to come. There’s a move afoot in home decor circles away from the standard granite and more towards other natural yet low maintenance choice.

When it came time to select the material for my own kitchen, I did the requisite research and ended up choosing Caesarstone, a brand of engineered quartz countertops with a great selection of colors. That was about 6 years ago and I couldn’t be happier with the choice. Needless to say, there are many great brands out there from which to choose including Silestone and Cambria.
