UPDATED: Boat Falls of Trailer near Salem Bridge
A boat fell off a trailer as it was taking a left on to Bridge Street from the Salem Bridge Wednesday, according to police.
SALEM, MA—A boat fell off a trailer near the Salem Bridge coming into Salem Wednesday, according to Salem Police Captain Conrad Prosniewski .
Prosniewski told Patch that the boat and trailer was traveling into Salem via the Salem Bridge at around 1:21 p.m. when the boat fell off the trailer as it was taking a left on to Bridge Street. The boat came directly off the trailer and landed on its left side.
No one was injured during the accident, according to Prosniewski. Salem Police are still trying to determine what caused the boat to fall off the trailer.

Prosniewski said that the boat has been cleared from the roadway and traffic is proceeding as usual.
