Caller Reports Suspicious Snow Removal: Salem Police Logs

Dec. 10

4:08 p.m.: Police units responded to Leach Street for a report of a loud party. The party was advised to watch the noise level.

Dec. 11

12:55 p.m.: Police spoke to a man who became verbally upset about the sale of an iPhone charger. He left without issue and apologized for his behavior.

7:23 p.m.: A police unit checked the wellbeing of a resident on Bridge Street. The involved party was found to be okay, and the actual call was for a landlord/tenant dispute.

Dec. 12

3:41 p.m.: An officer was dispatched to Loring Towers because an unknown caller reported that it was suspicious that maintenance was clearing the sidewalks of the snow. According to the police log "The caller was correct the sidewalks were nice and clear."

Arrests

Dec. 10, 2 p.m.: Michael J. Daley, 33, of Revere was arrested on a charge of larceny over $250.

Dec. 11, 11:55 p.m.: Michele Gallo, 50, of Beverly was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence of liquor.

Dec. 11, 11:06 p.m.: Nicholas Grella, 20, of Beverly was arrested on charges of a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a vehicle, and operating under the influence of liquor.

Dec. 12, 2:34 p.m.: James J. Teheen, 42, of Lowell was arrested on a charge of larceny over $250.
