Jan. 3
9:57 a.m.: Officers responded to the East India Square Mall for a possible trespasser. The woman who police were searching for had left the area.
2:35 p.m.: An officer went to Derby Street on a report of two undesirables. The officer transported two men to the Salem/Beverly line.

5:09 p.m.: Police took a walk-in report of a past breaking and entering. The man who reported it said that someone entered his unlocked vehicle and stole his drivers license and his girlfriend's wallet The man said that no cash or cards were taken.
7:06 p.m.: Police responded to 129 Washington St. for a report of an undesirable. At that time, a main was located inside the ATM Lobby drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest.

9:41 p.m.: A police unit observed a several people sitting outside of the Bank of America drinking alcohol. Three people were arrested and charged with trespassing and drinking in public.

Jan. 3, 9:50 p.m.: Judith L. Carpenter, 38, of Salem was arrested for trespassing and a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation.
Jan. 3, 9:50 p.m.: Donald Lee Germain, 45, of Salem was arrested for trespassing and a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation.
Jan. 3, 9:50 p.m.: Paul W. Labonte, 57, of Salem was arrested for trespassing and a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation.
Jan. 2, 7:35 p.m.: John J. Lapointe, 58, of Salem was arrested for a municipal bylaw or ordinance violation.
