Man Arrested on Warrants After Allegedly Trying to Steal Beef Jerky
Marblehead man was detained by store security in Salem.

Crime doesn’t pay. Especially when it comes to allegedly stealing something that probably costs about five bucks, such as beef jerky.
Adam Hamm, 26, of Marblehead, learned that lesson the hard way on Saturday night in Salem.
Shortly after 8 p.m., police were called to a pharmacy on New Derby Street, where the loss prevention officer had a man, later identified as Hamm, in the office.
