Is Rep. Seth Moulton Considering A 2020 Presidential Run?

SALEM, MA -- U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) is scheduled to address the Bedford, NH Democratic Committee on Feb. 2. And while the Salem Democrat has previously said he is not considering running for President in 2020, the visit to the first-in-the-nation primary state is fueling speculation that the opposite is true.

According to the Salem Gazette, which first reported this story, Moulton's press secretary Matt Corridoni said Moulton is "always happy to accept invitations to speak with Democratic groups, especially ones so close to home."

"Seth spent this past campaign cycle traveling the country and recruiting a new generation of leaders to run for office," Corridoni said in a written statement to the newspaper. "This is an outstanding request from the Bedford Democrats and Seth is looking forward to chatting with them about what he hopes to achieve in our new Democratic House majority."
