North Shore Pride Parade, Festival In Salem This Weekend

More than 30,000 people are expected for the parade beginning at Shetland Park and the festival at Salem Common.

SALEM, MA — More than 30,000 people are expected to come to Salem on Saturday for the annual North Shore Pride Parade and Festival.

Attendees are invited to march, ride, dance cheer and celebrate with North Shore Pride to advance the acceptance and support of the LGBTQIA+ community in the region.

The parade begins at Shetland Park at noon on Saturday and is rain or shine.

The festival takes place at Salem Common from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. that will include vendors, food trucks and plenty of dancing throughout the day.

An after-party will be held at Bit Bar in Salem following the festival.

There is also a planned Drag Brunch at The Derby in Salem the next day.
