• Chinese man accused of illegally voting in landlord's name to ruin his immigration status (pressnewsagency.org) — A federal investigation into alleged fraudulent voter registration and voting in Massachusetts has a Saugus connection: the lead Homeland Security agent previously coordinated elections for the town, bringing detailed knowledge of local voting systems. Prosecutors say a man used his former landlord's identity to vote in 2024 and then tried to trigger immigration consequences, while court records outline a broader pattern of alleged retaliation.
