The units join five existing public-access AEDs at the East Foxboro Street pickleball courts, Deborah Sampson Baseball Field, Ames Street Playground, Main Beach near the lifeguard office and Gavins Pond Soccer Field.

Sisters at Heart provided support for the project, according to the Fire Department.

The Fire Department and Sharon Public Health Department will also begin offering public CPR classes in September. Registration details and class schedules will be announced later.
